The Shizuku Kuroe, Part 2 Arc is the sixth story arc in My Dress-Up Darling.
Ever since he got roped into helping Marin, Wakana has had his world and perceptions expanded by cosplay. In fact, it's even helped him find peace with himself!
And that seems to be one of cosplay's superpowers, as Wakana and Marin discover at an Ikebukuro event. There, they meet crossplayer Amane and hear their cosplay origin story, which gives Marin the push she needs to decide on her next costume![1]
Summary[]
Marin and Wakana went to their second cosplay event, with Marin cosplaying as Shiziku Kuroe once again, but in another costume. There, Wakana helped another cosplayer named Amane fix a wardrobe malfunction.[2] As they were chatting, Amane revealed that he was actually dressed in drag and was crossplaying. Initially wary of being judged by Wakana and Marin, Amane soon found out that the two were nothing but supportive and in awe at his skills.
Wakana asked him some makeup tips and secrets on crossplaying, so he happily shared some tricks that he learned when he was starting out.[3] He took them to a cosplay specialty shop and showed them a lot of useful stuff.[4]
At the end of the event, the three went their separate ways, but not before promising to keep in touch. As Amane remembered how attentive Wakana was in doing Marin's makeup, he hoped that they would keep cosplaying together for a long time.[5]
