Shinju Inui (乾 (いぬい) 心 (しん) 寿 (じゅ) , Inui Shinju^?) is another character in the Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru series. She is introduced as the younger sister of Sajuna Inui.

Appearance

Shinju is described as a relatively tall girl for her age. Like her sister, she possesses pale pink hair that falls at the length of her upper back. Shinju's eyes are more droopy and light brown in color, instead of possessing sharp hazel-colored eyes like the latter.

Given her towering stature and ample bosom, her appearance would leave those to assume that she's an adult, when in reality, she's only a middle schooler. This is seen when Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo had first met her, as Sajuna introduces them to her. At which both were stunned to find out how, in contrast to her outward appearance, she's much younger than them.

Soma

For her cosplay, she dons a black wig resembling Soma's haircut while having her own hair tied back. The shape of her eyes is changed with cosplay tape and she wears extended eyeliner. Her chest is bound back with a B Holder and a sarashi wrap, and she also wears shoulder pads to make her look older and more masculine. She wears Wakana's school uniform, as he points out that its very similar to the one that Soma wears.

Personality

Unlike her sister, who is rather blunt and headstrong, Shinju is a timid yet kind-hearted girl. She is shown to get nervous easily, especially when meeting new people, as seen during her first meeting with Gojo and Marin. This aside, Shinju strongly admires and loves her sister, working as her cosplay photographer while also creating an online account to share her sister's work. Shinju likes the Flower Princess Blaze alongside Sajuna and Marin. Her favorite character from the series is the older brother Soma, due to his caring nature, as he reminds Shinju of her sister.

Shinju is aware of her mature figure, particularly her chest, and is shown to get embarrassed about it. She also calls herself "fat" in the Japanese dub of the anime.

History

Besides her huge "personality" and her shy nature, she is also the photographer of the one and only Sajuna Inui AKA the amazing cosplayer who goes by the name "Juju". Like her friends and "big" sister, she is also interested in trying out cosplay but, contrary to the others, she wishes to cosplay as a boy. Her big chest, however, has proven to be a hurdle in achieving this.

Plot

When her sister, Sajina, asked her to take photos, Shinju was delighted to take them. She wanted other people to see her photos so with her sister's permissions she gave her an account and cosplay name. Due to the popularity Sajina got, Shinju was overwhelmed and ignored all of the requests.

She met Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojo as a chance to teach some photography. She joined the pair in looking over the studio. Afterwards, Wakana talked to her about possibly cosplaying and Shinju decided to give it a try. Her cosplay went over well with Sajina and Marin and they all took photos together. After the photo shoot, Shinju vowed to get a job and save up money to cosplay more often.

Etymology

Her name is very similar to Shinji Inui, a character in Initial D. Note that both of these characters didn't share any relation.

• The name Shinju means "heart, mind, soul" (心) (shin) and "longevity, congratulations, one's natural life" (寿) (ju).
• Shinju's surname Inui means "northwest" (乾).
