Mira (ミラ, Mira^?) is a fictional character that Shinju Inui cosplays as. She is the main character in the mystery-horror game, Coffin.

Appearance

Mira appears as a nun in the game. She wears a rosary around her neck along with a typical habit. She has light-colored hair tendrils with bangs. As the game reaches the end, her habit is stained with blood and self-harm marks on her forearms are shown.

Plot

The game unfolds from Mira's point of view. It is set in a convent where Mira and the other nuns reside. They perform everyday mundane nun duties or tasks at first and they eat together everyday. However, as the story progresses, the seemingly blissful everyday life of the characters slowly become harsh, starting with their conversations. Later on, it is revealed that everything that has happened so far was all in Mira's head. The other characters did not exist to begin with. She invented a new family for herself in an attempt to overwrite her painful real-life backstory―that she was actually in a hospital bed the whole time.

The conversations that didn't flow together were a sign that Mira was mentally unstable. The game's erased save screen was to signify that Mira did not want to remember her real life. In the end, she ends up "killing" and consuming everyone during the iconic dinner scene. In her mind, if she takes her new-found family into herself and become one with them, they won't leave her.
