Masumi is usually a cheerful man, but when it comes to his daughter Marin, he has a short fuse, he hates it when Marin gets others to do her work and he will always pay them back in money if he has to and will apologize for his daughter, he is also friendly as when he met Wakana Gojo he called Gojo a sweet boy and thanked him for his patience with Marin.

Masumi loves his daughter greatly but he hates her slobby behavior, he tried his best to provide for her and will always scold her for slacking and taking the easy way out, this stems from him losing his wife when Marin was young so he had to raise her alone, plus he was always away from home at work.

Wakana Gojo

Masumi likes Gojo and his thankful for him taking care of his daughter, he entrusted Marin to Gojo and hoped that he would take care of her when he wasn't home. A few years Later Wakana asked Masumi for Marin's hand in marriage and Masumi allowed Wakana to marry his daughter, after this they became family and Masumi always brags to his coworkers about how skilled his Son In-law is at making Hina Dolls
