The Liz Arc is the fourth story arc in My Dress-Up Darling.
Now that she's crossed off bronzed fighter Veronica-tya from her to-do list, Marin has set her sights on a succubus from one of her favorite manga series! But when she picks out a questionable location for the photo shoot, Wakana's the one about to be left red in the face and hot under the collar![1]
Summary[]
Wakana and Marin went to a manga cafe. They got a room to themselves which made Wakana hyperaware at how close they were. There, Marin introduced to Wakana the manga SuccuProb (SuccIDK in the Japanese translation). Wakana asked if she was planning to cosplay the main character of the manga, but Marin answered that she can't because she didn't think she would look good in half-up pigtails. After taking a good look at Marin's face, Wakana asked her to reconsider since he thought that she would actually look good in half-up pigtails. With that compliment from Wakana, Marin changed her mind and decided to go for it.[2]
On the day of the photoshoot, Wakana found himself in what Marin thought was a studio but was actual a love hotel. Wakana panicked but Marin told him that she was going to go through with the shoot since it would be a waste of money to go home.[3]
After Marin got into her costume, they started taking photos. Wakana had her recreate his favorite scenes from the manga using the props that he made especially for the occasion. For the last one, Marin would be doing a scene where she would be singing a lullaby to the male lead. When Wakana took the photo, it didn't feel right and figured that the picture had to be from the male lead's point of view. Wakana thought of lying down on the bed and had Marin sit on his stomach so that he could take the photo in from that perspective. They took the photo, and they were happy with how it turned out. Marin told Wakana how much fun she was having, and Wakana also shared that he felt the same way.
Their conversation was interrupted by the moans they heard from a nearby room. They were reminded that they were in a love hotel and the situation got awkward fast. Wakana realized that he had Marin sit on him and his gaze fell to her underwear. He got an erection which Marin felt. Wakana panicked and tried to lift Marin off him by grabbing her waist. This startled Marin and they both froze in place staring at each other. Wakana snapped out of his daze when the room telephone rang to ask them if they were going to extend their stay. He answered in the negative, so they left to check out.
At home, Wakana was left sleepless as he cringed and stressed over what had happened.[4]
