This is the eighty-ninth chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
At the craft store, Wakana and Marin are trying to find the right fabric for the costume. Wakana wants to find a fabric to express the qualities of something beyond humanity. Wakana wants to stay and take a look at the different fabrics before he can decide which one to buy. Marin offers to help him by splitting up and doing some shopping on her own. She suggests that she head over the other shops and just ask the attendant for some help and send him pictures for confirmation.
Marin starts to shop for the items they need. She fits long white boots and horse-riding clothes there were going to use. She sends the photos to Wakana before she buys them.
She walks around the mall and sees a Christmas tree. She gets excited and looks forward to spending Christmas with Wakana. She passes by a lingerie shop and decides to look around. A Santa-inspired lingerie and a T-back catches her attention. The salesperson notices her eyeing the items and asks if she wants to try them on and asks if she's buying them for a Christmas date. Marin shares that it would be the first time for her to spend Christmas with her crush, but that he's living with his grandfather, and it might be too early in their relationship for the lingerie. The salesperson interrupts her and convinces her that she should buy "battle underwear" for herself, and not so she can impress a man.
After a somewhat long spiel about wearing "battle underwear" to make oneself feel good and motivated, Marin is convinced and decides to buy the lingerie.
