This is the sixth chapter of the eleventh volume and the eighty-fifth chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Shinju, who is oblivious to the Marin-Akira situation, asks the two of them if they could pose together for a picture. When she leaves to get her camera, Marin tries to stop her, thinking that it would make Akira uncomfortable because Akira hated her.
In a flashback during the afterparty when Wakana and Chitose confronted Akira about her seeming annoyance towards Marin, Akira revealed the reason why she did not want to be near Marin. She confessed that she saw Marin as her "Princess," which took Wakana and Chitose by surprise. Akira shared that just this summer, she saw a picture of Marin cosplaying as Black Lobelia on social media and it turned her into a huge fangirl.
Chitose remarked that if Marin knew that Akira was a fan, she would be overjoyed. However, Akira refused to let Marin find out about her true feelings. She said that her becomes nervous around Marin and her head becomes blank, which is why she didn't want to be around her. Seeing the situation, Wakana and Chitose promised Akira that they would help her distract Marin during the Coffin cosplay event so she and Marin would not have to interact with each other.
Back in the present, Akira could no longer restrain herself and switches to superfan mode. She screams and rambles on about how much she actually really loves Marin, her princess. Marin is confused by the turn of events, so Suzuka explains that Akira is her fan.
With this new development, Marin starts to get excited at the thought of having a fan and thanks Akira. Just then, Shinju returns with her camera so Marin asks her to take a photo of her and Akira together. They took a couple of photos which makes Akira start bawling. Marin tries to comfort her, but everyone else asks her to stay away from Akira so she doesn't end up crying even more.
