This is the second chapter of the tenth volume and the seventy-third chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Miyako asks Shinju to join their Coffin group cosplay as Mira, the protagonist of the game. She hesitates, saying that she was just content on watching. Miyako tries to convince her, but Shinju says that she would be way too tall. Miyako tells her not to worry about it and confirms that she'll be cosplaying as Mira. Miyako finalizes the characters everyone was going to cosplay as: Shinju as Mira, herself as Charlotte, Akira as Sofia, Amane as Emma, Marin as Rose, and Sajuna as Claire.
Since Wakana wasn't going to make Marin's costume, he asks if there was anything he could do to help. Miyako says that they were going to need a lot of props since they were going to do the dining scene, so Wakana says that he'll try to make them. Miyako realizes that he hasn't played Coffin before so he wouldn't know what would show up. Marin offers to let Wakana borrow the game, so he should drop by her place afterwards.
They tell Wakana that the game takes only 7 hours to finish, so they'd like to hear his opinion once he finished the game. Suzuka adds that only after Wakana finished the game will they be able to decide on what to make for the props.
Akira excuses herself for a cigarette break. Chitose decides to come with her. Wakana also leaves to go to the bathroom. Everyone else agrees to finish up their afterparty after everyone gets back since Marin and the others still need to go and buy their costumes.
Marin tells those who remained in the room all about the Rei Kogami cosplay that she did for their school's cultural festival. Suzuka shrieks when she hears this and demands why Marin never told her about it. She asks to be shown pictures of the cosplay, however, photos weren't allowed during the pageant and she didn't get to squeeze in a selfie because she had to help her classmates clean up their stalls right after. When Marin tells them that she chose to do the bento scene for the pageant, Miyako is overwhelmed at such a perfect choice that she cries.
Meanwhile, Wakana just finished going to the bathroom and passes by the smoking room. He overhears Chitose and Akira talking about Marin. Chitose comments that Akira must find Marin hard to handle. He tells her that it was obvious, especially when she started talking the moment Marin left the room earlier.
Chitose notices Wakana outside the smoking room and realizes that he overheard them. He apologizes, but Chitose tells him to relax and that it's expected that he would worry since Marin is his friend. Akira decides to be honest and tells them that she doesn't want to be around Marin. She doesn't even want to talk to her and that she would prefer it if she stopped being around her.
Outside, Sajuna is walking back to the karaoke room. She is depressed because the group was going to do the dining scene and she wasn't confident that she could do it. When she enters the room, Shinju is beaming at her, telling her how fun the meetup is going to be. Sajuna, on the other hand, doesn't feel the same, but she tries to smile.
