This is the first chapter of the tenth volume and the seventy-second chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Marin calls Sajuna while she's out shopping with her family. Marin doesn't ask her immediately about joining the Coffin group cosplay. She first tells her that she attended a cosplay event as a photographer. She then tells Sajuna that she's at an after-party and that they decided to hold a Coffin meetup. Sajuna is familiar with the game since her sister likes it. She, on the other hand, doesn't and tells Marin so.
Marin tells Sajuna that Wakana isn't making her costume this time because she gained weight. After beating around the bush, Marin finally asks Sajuna if she wanted to join them. However, before Marin could actually ask her question, Sajuna immediately says no, stating that she only cosplays for her own purposes and that she has no plans of joining up with other cosplayers. Marin updates the others that she was unsuccessful in asking Sajuna to join them.
Meanwhile, Shinju arrives and lets her older sister know that their mom told them to go ahead to the menswear store where their father was at. Shinju asks who Sajuna was on the phone with. Sajuna answers that Marin called to invite her to a Coffin meetup next Sunday.
Shinju beams and gets excited at the thought of seeing her sister in Coffin cosplay. She lists all the possible characters her sister could dress up as and concludes that Sajuna would look perfect as any of them. She goes on about her favorite scenes in the game and how excited she is to capture everything on camera.
Unfortunately, Sajuna informs her of her decision to turn down Marin. She lists all the reasons why but stops when she sees Shinju's face fall. Seeing her sister sad and disappointed, Sajuna relents and calls Marin to ask where their afterparty was.
Sometime later, Sajuna and Shinju arrive at the afterparty. Miyako is surprised that Sajuna agreed to join them and that she actually exists. Chitose admires Sajuna's clothes and asks where she bought them since he would like to buy some for his crossplays. Marin excuses herself for the bathroom, while the others carry on with their conversation. Akira chimes in and Chitose notices the change in her behavior. Akira compliments Sajuna's looks in her photos. She asks if a professional took them. Shinju blushes at the compliment and she and Suzuka bond over their common hobby of photography. All the while, Chitose continues to observe Akira with a worried look on his face.
