This is the eighth and final chapter of the eighth volume and the sixty-third chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Because of Marin's win in the beauty pageant, Class 1-5 takes first place in the cultural festival. Marin's classmates sing her and Wakana praises. Marin welcomes it all while Wakana stands flustered at the attention he's receiving.
Shiki announces that they will be holding a wrap party to celebrate their win. Wakana is unsure if he should go to the party. He doesn't think he did enough to celebrate. He was behind schedule in finishing the costume, and instead of helping out with the class preparations for the festival, he spent the time making the alterations. He feels like he's just crashing the after-party if he attends. However, Takeru tells him that they can't have the party without the man of the hour. Murakami, Rune, and Kensei also try to convince him to go. He caves in and happily confirms his attendance.
At the karaoke room, Wakana's classmates bombard him with questions, and he gets overwhelmed. He leaves the room to take a break from the festivities. Marin looks for him and finds him sitting outside. He tells her that he's just not used to big, lively groups so he just took a breather.
Wakana compliments Marin's pitch during the pageant, especially the part where she placed her hand on the small of the president's back. Marin tells him that getting pulled in by the waist is more of a turn on, but she gets flustered when she remembers what happened between her and Wakana in the love hotel not too long ago.
Wakana tells Marin that they should head back, but Marin says that they could hang outside a while longer. Since it's his first time there, Wakana is amazed at how the establishment has an arcade, karaoke, and bowling alley. Marin suggests that they check out the arcade. Wakana starts playing with the claw machine and wins a stuffed toy for Marin, which makes her very happy.
Marin sees a photo booth and realizes that she doesn't have any photos with Wakana. She decides to take advantage of the situation and asks him to take a photo with her in the booth. Before Wakana can answer, Kensei answers for him and accepts. They were going to go bowling when they saw her and Wakana. Kensei calls Takeru, Murakami and Shiki and tells them that Marin wants a photo booth pic. Marin tries to tell them that she only wants to take a picture with Wakana, but they all ignore her. The five boys enter the photo booth and take a picture together. Afterwards, they all went bowling together.
