This is the fifth chapter of the eighth volume and the sixtieth chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
The school's cultural festival has finally begun. Class 1-5's Russian Roulette Takoyaki booth initially did great in the morning, but when lunchtime came, Class 1-3's curry booth drew all the customers because of the aroma.
In the sewing room, Shiki tells Takeru and Kensei that their break is over and that they should head back to their booth. He then hands Wakana his lunch since everyone back in the classroom was saying that he hadn't gotten a chance to eat. Kensei asks how they were doing with their booth and Shiki tells him that Class 1-3 has a massive lead and their customers keep on coming. However, Shiki hasn't given up yet. Shiki, Kensei, and Takeru get back to their classroom and Wakana thanks Shiki for the food.
Wakana and Marin are now left alone. Wakana comments at how hard a time their class is having, but Marin tells him that everything will be fine because everyone is working hard and that she's sure that she'll be taking first place in the pageant. She's determined to win for everyone, and she cannot see herself losing, especially when Wakana went all out in making her suit. She's confident because she is going out on stage wearing the costume he made and make up he did for her.
When Marin leaves to help out with the class booth, Wakana wonders where he should be doing her makeup. All the other contestants will be using the changing room, but he plans to do it in the sewing room instead. He thinks that no one will come over to watch him do Marin's makeup since they'll be too busy manning their takoyaki booth. He hopes that no one stops by because he wants to focus when he does Marin's makeup. However, contrary to what he hoped for, everyone gathers around him and Marin when he is about to do her makeup and he starts sweating profusely.
