This is the third chapter of the eighth volume and the fifty-eighth chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Wakana explains that aside from nailing the costume and the makeup, Marin has to also act unmistakably "manly." He reminds Marin how Amane was able to hide his masculinity by hiding everything that says "male," from his mannerisms to his physical attributes.
Marin tries to act like a guy. Wakana remembers what his grandfather told him about learning how to lean on other people, so he asks Kensei to model for Marin. After a few compliments from Wakana, Kensei excitedly helps out. He poses for Marin who imitates him. With some additional instructions from Wakana, she manages to pose like a guy, so much so that Shiki comments that she looks like a man from the neck down.
A while later, Takeru arrives to tells them that their homeroom teacher bought them some refreshments. He sees Marin in the suit and remarks at how awesome the suit is. Takeru calls to Murakami who gingerly enters the room. According to Takeru, Murakami has been dying to come and see the costume. However, Murakami stopped himself because he thought that it would be weird for everyone if he was way too excited for it. He found it humiliating for people to find out that he had watched the drama, but Wakana assured him that that was nothing to be ashamed about. Kensei and Shiki also agreed that liking or watching the drama was no big deal. Murakami initially hesitates but he decides not to care and asks if he could take a picture of the costume. He says that he wants to show it to his sister and brag about how his friend was able to make Rei-sama's suit.
Marin poses for Murakami who takes her picture. She gets annoyed when she finds out that Murakami had cropped out her face from the photo.
