This is the second chapter of the eighth volume and the fifty-seventh chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
In the school's sewing room, Wakana inspects the wig he trimmed the other night while waiting for Marin to change into the costume. In the changing room, Marin wears some shapewear to flatten her chest and her butt to hide her feminine figure. She also wraps a towel around her waist. With her are Nowa, Rune and Daia who are amazed at all the work put into cosplaying, but Marin shares that being able to become the character she loves makes everything worth it.
Back at the sewing room, Marin has already put on the suit while her classmates look in awe at how well-made the costume is. However, Wakana looks anything but happy with how it turned out and Marin notices. Wakana notices that the suit is a little big for her and realizes that he made the suit based on Marin's normal measurements without accounting for the change due to the shapewear she would be wearing. He decides to make the adjustments, promising to have the suit ready in time for the pageant.
Before Marin changes out of the costume, Wakana tells her that there was something he wanted to try first.
