This is the first chapter of the eighth volume and the fifty-sixth chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Wakana and Marin work on Rei-sama's wig. When Wakana inspects the bangs, he observes that the hairline didn't look natural. After some research, he finds out that they had to buy hairline wefts to make the wig's hairline look more natural. Marin prepares to leave so they can buy some, but Wakana learns that they can make their own out of the wig trimmings after cutting the wig.
After Marin had already left, Wakana reads up on crossplay makeup. He looks at a picture in the book of a female crossplayer who looked like a guy. He remembers Shinju when she was cosplaying as Soma Tengeji. He realizes that although he applied makeup to make her look masculine, she still didn't quite look like a guy, unlike the model in the book.
Wakana tries to figure out what he should do differently. He recalls Amane crossplaying as a girl and makes a realization.
