This is the second chapter of the seventh volume and the forty-ninth chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Marin calls her homeroom teacher to inform her that she will not be able to come to school because she had a fever. Wakana realizes that she had caught a cold after wearing her bunny-girl costume when it was cold. He sends a chat to check if she' okay. However, when she doesn't reply, Wakana faked sick and rushed to her home. He tells her that he knew she lived alone and was worried that she didn't have medicine and food.
Wakana helps Marin change into clean clothes. He carries her to her bed and cooks her some porridge. He begins to feed her when she bursts into tears. She was so sick that she couldn't even move. Wakana continues to feed her while she cries while eating. Wakana gives her some medicine and gets up to do the dishes. She thanks him for taking care of her and gets a bit clingy, calling out his name while he's doing the dishes.
Marin's fever goes down and she feels much better. Wakana is telling her that he left her some food in the fridge and is about to go home, when the doorbell rings. Marin's friends arrive to check up on her. Worried that they might get the wrong idea again, Wakana asks to hide on Marin's balcony saying it's because he lied to get out of class. Marin is confused why he had to hide when he left school to take care of her. Outside, Wakana rushes to the balcony and hides. He ends up catching a cold of his own since it was freezing outside that day.
