This is the seventh chapter of the sixth volume and the forty-sixth chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Marin and Wakana have rented out a studio for their Arisa Izayoi photoshoot. Wakana is amazed at the different sets and props available at the studio and is excited to take a lot of great photos.
Marin shares that she selected this studio after seeing Suzuka's photos of "President Luna" who is also a character in the Tsukiyono Company show. Wakana and Marin praise the details put into the cosplay, which include the backdrop and the cosplayer's look, and the technique of the the shots for the photos.
Marin already did her makeup at home to cut down on the preparation time in the studio, a tip shared to her by Suzuka. She goes ahead and changes into her costume while Wakana takes a look around the set. Before changing, Marin tells Wakana that she knows how uncomfortable Wakana can get when Marin shows too much skin, so she assures him that she found a workaround for him, for which Wakana is thankful.
However, after Marin changes into her costume, Wakana's face is anything but assured since he can still see a lot of skin due to the bodysuit's high-cut style. Marin says that she bought a swallowtail jacket and wore stick on underwear that won't show under the costume. Wakana points out that she is still showing a lot of skin, but she tells him that what he is seeing isn't actually her skin, but flesh-toned pantyhose, so kind of like showing skin but not really. In Wakana's 15-year-old mind, however, all of it was skin and he sweats profusely.
Wakana starts taking pictures while Marin poses as Arisa. Unfortunately, he is still distracted and unable to focus especially when Marin poses suggestively. Unable to keep his mind straight, he asks for them to take a break.
During their break, Marin talks about how much she loves the stockings that she's wearing, but that she loves the more classic style that "Komari Mikagura," another Tsucom character, wears. She initially plans on cosplaying as her at home but realizes that she can just wear her planned costume to the Halloween party that she had been planning to attend with Nowa. In her excitement, she invites Wakana to the said party and asks if he wanted to do it in cosplay.
