This is the fifth chapter of the sixth volume and the forty-fourth chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
The plot for the series Tsukiyono Company is shown. Wakana is watching an episode after Marin suggests it to him. He tells Marin that he likes that since it is a comedy, nobody dies and so he can watch it without worrying.
They continue to discuss the characters in the series. Marin gushes over "Junior," a male character in the series. Wakana asks if she plans to crossplay as Junior, but she answers that she wants to cosplay "Arisa Izayoi," one of the male female characters in the same series.
Marin lists all the things that she loves about Arisa, but stresses that what makes the characters great to cosplay is because of the bunny-girl costumes the characters wear as uniforms. She loves the different colors of the character's uniforms, as well as the different stockings that they wear. The costumes, she says, screams "sexy and mature." Furthermore, bunny-girl costumes are already a classic in pop culture, so everybody loves bunnies.
Wakana immediately understands the allure of the classics, as he also sees the hina dolls the same way. He tells Marin that he'll be drawing up a sketch that evening after he finishes watching the show. Marin is surprised at how fast Wakana has been able to design and make her costumes, but he says that he probably has just gotten used to making them.
In the middle of their conversation, Marin offers some snacks to Wakana. She teases him and tells him to take the one she has in her mouth. Wakana blushes and realizes that Marin was just teasing him. She apologizes and gives him some. Shortly after, Nowa appears stating that she has been looking all over for Marin. She needed to discuss their plans for their planned Halloween party. As Marin says goodbye to Wakana, Nowa notices how engrossed Wakana already is in planning for Marin's Arisa costume.
