This is the third chapter of the sixth volume and the forty-second chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Wakana, Marin and Amane arrive at the costume shop, and they immediately look at the wearable boobs called "Boobs Neosister." Marin and Amane note how easier it is to simply equip the boobs rather than stuff their bras or use NuBras.
Amane equips the boobs on Wakana to demonstrate how easy it is to use. Marin immediately gropes the boobs which makes Wakana plead for her to stop since it was embarrassing him. They take a look around and see ready-made costumes of popular characters, with Amane noting that this was where he bought the costume he is currently wearing.
They proceed to the third floor and find a variety of make-up for sale. Wakana's eyes light up at the assortment of products. Amane explains the different kinds available in the store and Wakana decides to buy some. Marin muses at Wakana's enthusiasm.
Next, they go to the back where wigs are sold. Here, the wigs are different from what Wakana and Marin usually buy at Swallowtail as they are character wigs which have been pre-styled. Amane explains they you can take parts from one wig and stick them on as is. He adds that specialty shops such as this is an ally to cosplayers like him who do not have the time nor the skill to make their own costumes.
As Wakana is idling through the store, he comes across rack dedicated to cosplay modeling boards, which intrigues him. The three finally make it out of the store. Wakana takes a photo of Marin and Amane. A couple of cosplayers from the same show as Amane ask if they could take a picture with him. He hesitates for a bit, asking them if they wouldn't mind if he joined since he is crossplaying. They fawn over him, amazed at how good he looks and how hard it is to tell that he is crossdressing. Wakana takes their picture while Marin happily observes how great the three of them look in their costumes.
After the two cosplayers leave. Marin asks Amane what got him started into cosplaying. Amane answers that it started the first time he put on makeup in his second year of high school.
