This is the first chapter of the sixth volume and the fortieth chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Marin and Wakana go to their second cosplay event. Part of the venue is the Sunshine Aquarium so the two enjoy some sightseeing. Wakana notices a girl crouching nearby and asks if she was okay. The girl tells him that she lost the hook of her skirt and that she was looking for it. Marin notices that Wakana is elsewhere and asks what is going on. She notices the girl and immediately recognizes her cosplaying as "Subarun" from Cosluv. Marin is apprised of the situation and the three look for the hook of the girl's skirt.
After some searching, they find the hook. The girl introduces herself as Amane Himeno, which is her cosname. Marin asks if she can get pictures with her, but Amane unfortunately declines due to her wardrobe malfunction and informs them that she will be leaving for the day. Wakana offers to fix her skirt, having brought a travel sewing kit. Amane gladly accepts but Wakana realizes that he won't be able to enter the girls' dressing room to fix her skirt due to the event rules. Amane tells him that they can just use the guys' dressing room and reveals to them that he is actually a man.
Marin waits outside of the dressing room as Wakana fixes Amane's skirt. She is greeted by Suzuka, a photographer she met previously during her first cosplay event. Suzuka asks to take a closer look at Marin's costume and the latter obliges. She compliments the level of detail given to the costume's design and asks if Marin is cosplaying down to her undergarments. Marin offers to give her a peek under her skirt, but she politely declines.
