This is the eighth and final chapter of the fifth volume and the thirty-ninth chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Wakana goes to watch a movie with Marin. She says it's in season to watch horror movies in the summer. Marin is scared while Wakana is interested in it. He's interested in the costume design and makeup. He decides to watch the second movie as well.
When Wakana is ready to turn in for the night, Marin calls him. She's freaking out after seeing the horror movies and wanted to hear Wakana's voice. She jumps in the bathroom as well. They talk until Marin calms down and Wakana dozes off. Wakana nods off and Marin tell him that she loves him. She hangs up hoping to continue the phone call another day.
