This is the sixth chapter of the fifth volume and the thirty-seventh chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
When working on the next cosplay, Gojo gets a text from Marin that she's in trouble.
Earlier Marin's father finally came home and is happy to be there. He apologizes for only being there at the end of December and start of January. Marin says it's cool before Mister Kitagawa asks about Marin's studies. Marin quickly changes the topic but her father notices. She reveals that she has only got halfway done. Mister Kitagawa realizes that Marin puts things off like he does so he grounds her until she can finish her summer homework.
Back in the present, Marin complains to Gojo while he works with her on the headpiece of the next cosplay. Gojo asks what Mister Kitagawa meant by magazine and Marin shows Gojo a magazine nearby which displays her as a model. Gojo is amazed and notes that a few photos don't even look like her. Marin mentions that she had a real make-up artist do her up. She mentions she's been doing more jobs recently because she wants to buy the expensive camera.
Marin is relieved to be somewhat done but Gojo notes there's still math. Marin realizes her math homework is at school. They head to school the next day to pick it up. Gojo invites Kitagawa over for dinner as they pass by the school swimming pool. Kitagawa decides to dip her feet in but falls in. Gojo realizes that she can't swim as the bubbles on the water fade and goes in to save her.
He pulls her out and yells at her for not being able to swim. Gojo then asks about the beach party Kitagawa had and she said she had fun even though she couldn't swim. She mentions how she loves looking at the water, Gojo can relate when he looks at hina dolls. Kitagawa decides to go to a festival with Gojo after she finishes her homework.
