This is the second chapter of the fifth volume and the thirty-third chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Marin and Wakana go to Shibuya with Wakana being nervous. Marin reveals that they're shopping for Wakana to get him some new clothes because she mentioned he was nervous about only having his current clothes. Marin tries a simple t-shirt with jeans. The clerk notices how cute Marin is. Wakana tries some other clothes and while Marin loves him in every one, Wakana is uncomfortable in them. Marin tries a simple t-shirt and tries the same one on.
After trying on clothes at several place, they decide to head home. Wakana apologizes but Marin's okay. She mentions that she's ready for the Veronica cosplay but Wakana says he'll have to pass. Marin is shook up because she can't do this without Wakana. Wakana mentions he couldn't look at Marin in this particular cosplay and Marin hits him with relief. She apologizes and says she'll take cosplay pictures at home. As they head down the street, Marin says she can send a picture of her cosplay to Wakana if he wants. He freaks out but she was only teasing him.

- The pair's Veronica photoshoot is postponed. They go to Shibuya, with Marin suggesting that they buy clothes for Wakana.
- Marin styles Wakana and silently loves all the fits she gives him, while Wakana feels awkward in every one of them.
- Wakana tells Marin that she should do the Veronica cosplay on her own because he feels uncomfortable with her showing too much skin.
- Initially thinking that Wakana didn't want to work with her anymore, Marin is relieved and decides to wear her Veronica costume at home.
