This is the one-hundred second chapter overall of the My Dress-Up Darling manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda.
Summary[]
Marin's father, Masumi, learns of her viral Haniel cosplay. He's having trouble understanding the concept of being viral, so Marin explains how influencers helped in this regard. At the same time, her friends, Miyako and Suzuka, gush over her virality in their group chat.
As Marin and Masumi leave to visit the shrines, Marin shares that an agent recruited her to become a full-time cosplayer. Upon hearing this, Masumi expressed his support. He then compliments the costumes she wore and asked where she bought them. She tells him that a friend made them for her. Masumi somehow becomes outraged by the fact that she's having her friend make such intricate and high-quality designs, thinking that she may be taking advantage of such friend.
Because of this, Marin and Masumi visit the Gojo's where the latter personally apologizes to Wakana for how Marin supposedly took advantage of him. Wakana informs him that he used the experience as practice so there was no need for him to apologize. Meanwhile, Marin observes that Wakana is no longer sulking and has returned to his normal self, but she decides to pretend that nothing happened. She then chimes in saying that she never forced Wakana into doing anything and that she has paid him for all the work he's done. The father and daughter then argue in front of the Gojo's, with Masumi praising Wakana's work.
Wakana is left flustered and when Masumi notices, he realizes that Wakana is such a kind boy. Masumi's "rampage" doesn't end and in fact, blows up, when Kaoru tells him that they have been inviting Marin over for dinner and that she has been eating delicious, home-cooked meals.
After they eat lunch, Masumi thanks Wakana for their hospitality and invites them to visit the shrine with them. Wakana politely declines, saying that he's made plans to go with his cousin. As Masumi looks back at his daughter, he again thanks Wakana for everything and asks him to take good care of Marin, but Wakana misunderstood this as Masumi asking Wakana to make sure Marin's nutritional needs are met.
